This course facilitates participants to learn basic business research. Business research is a systematic inquiry that provides information to guide managerial decisions. It is a process of planning, acquiring, analyzing, and disseminating relevant data, information, and insights to decision makers.
This course is design to equip participants with conceptual and theoretical foundation of business research, and to provide participants with opportunities to learn-by-doing in all aspects of the course—in class meetings, the computer lab, and out-of-class assignments. The conceptual and theoretical foundation, and the practical experience help participants answer questions regarding what, how, and why of research activities.
The course covers the following topics: the characteristics of scientific research, research process, ethics in business research, research design, sampling design, sources of data, data collection, analysis of data, presentation of insights and findings, and the implication of research findings on decision.

Business communication and negotiation uncover business organization’s description, process, concepts, principles, and communication techniques in general and in negotiation context. This course is designed to provide students a comprehensive view of communication, its scope and importance in business, and the role of communication in establishing a favorable situation outside the firm environment, as well as an effective internal communication program.
This course will cover the various types of business communication media and its use in negotiation, as well as develops an awareness of the importance of succinct written expression to modern business communication. Nowadays the business environment is undergoing continuous changes. The pandemic of Covid-19 has pushed all of the business stakeholders to work within turbulences. We cannot stop the wave, but we can learn how to ride it. This course facilitates students to learn to be an adaptive communicator after the pandemic era.

Customer Value Discovery, Creation and Discovery course (CVDCD) is an integrative course which synthesizes three learning aspects: discovery, creation and delivery of customer value.
The Discovery of Customer Value section discusses the process of discovering the best customer value.
The Creation of Customer Value section discusses the process of concept development, marketing strategy development, business analysis, and testing.
The Delivery of Customer Value section discusses the process of facilitating the consumer decision-making process in terms of marketing channels and communication.
With 'customer value' at its core, the CVDCD course is designed to provide an experiential learning opportunity for students to think and execute as creative and innovative marketers.
