Biology: Anatomy and Physiology (IE_IUP)

This course, Biology: Human Anatomy and Physiology, provides an in-depth exploration of the human body’s structure and function. It covers key systems such as the human anatomy and skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, circulatory, metabolic, and sensory systems, focusing on understanding how they work individually and together to maintain health and homeostasis.

The primary purpose of this course is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and physiology, enabling them to apply this knowledge in industrial engineering contexts. By the end of the course, students will be able to use anatomical terminology, assess physical capacities, understand the body’s thermoregulation processes, and understand the significance of biological rhythms in human health and performance.

Ergonomika

This course provides a solid introduction to ergonomics and the theory and techniques used to optimise the design of tools, tasks and workplaces.
