The course provides conceptual and theoretical foundation of business research. It covers the research process, research design, instruments, data collection, data analysis and examination, as well as report presentation. The course is important for the final stage undergraduate students in preparing their own thesis and future career. Students trained with research competencies will allow them to think more systematically, particularly in solving work or business problems and ultimately making decisions. This course provides students to also put the conceptual understanding in practice. Students will work in a group of four and will have the opportunities to conduct mini data collection, processing, and research reporting. The conceptual and theoretical foundation, and the practical experience help students answer questions regarding what, how, and why of research activities.
