Statistics I

Statistics I offer an introduction to fundamental statistical theories, fostering statistical thinking and reasoning among students. The course emphasizes the application of statistical principles to grasp uncertainty and detect potential misrepresentations in data and real-world scenarios. Students will gain proficiency in statistical software and learn descriptive statistics for data collection, summarization, presentation, and analysis. Additionally, they will delve into inferential statistics, enabling them to make population-based inferences from data samples. An independent group project enhances active learning throughout the course.
