IUPiCs - Human and Cultural Communications
This course is one of the basic courses in the study program. This course aims to equip students with basic understanding of human communication. As a social and psychological beings, humans have their communication skill. Communication as a basic skill of human life are non the less intertwined with elements coming of from psychology, sosiology and culure.
Human Communication course will discuss communication as a process, its function on various levels of relation, human capability in responding and creating message, and the capability of adapting.
The main goals of the course are:
Knowing and understanding the basic value of communication.
Understanding principles on human communication, such as process, function, response and creating message, and adaptation.
Acknowleding the role of identity and psychology in human interactions and communications.
Capable to practice basic function of communication on interpersonal relations, group, organization, and media
