This course provides the theoretical foundations of Machine Learning. Students are expected to be able to understand the mathematical framework rigorously from Machine Learning, explore the main class of algorithms, and make connection with the general framework. We will use the tools from Calculus, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Optimization, Probability Theory, and Statistical Inference.
