Introduction to Livestock Economics course counts as part of the academic requirements of the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada curriculum and Bachelor degree of Animal Science Faculty.

 Introduction to Livestock Economics course is a study of economic principles, with emphasis on their application to the solution of farm, agribusiness, and agricultural industry problems. This course explain an introduction to the principles of economics including production principles; production costs, supply and revenue; profit maximization; consumption and demand; and competitive versus noncompetitive market models.
