English 1 is a course designed to drill students’ skill in understanding and comprehending rules in English so that the students can apply those rules in communication: writing, reading, speaking, and listening not only in daily and social environment, but also in working environment. Students will also be introduced to TOEIC and TEVocS (Test of English for Vocational Students), a test similar to TOEIC, but specifically designed for students of Vocational College UGM.
