Chemical Engineering Principles course is an obligatory course in the Dept. of Chemical Engineering, UGM. In the course, the students learn the basic of chemical engineering fundamentals including material balance, energy balance, equilibrium and rate processes. The course also introduces the basic understanding of dimension analysis and similarity in chemical engineering. Through the course the student is expected to have the ability to use chemical engineering fundamentals: material balance, energy balance and simultaneous mass and energy balances. Recognizing the basic concepts of humidity. the basic principles of diffusional mass transfers, dimensional analyses and concepts of similarity.
