This course introduces physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the oceans; the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO); biogeochemical cycle in the ocean, primary productivity; estuary environment; coral reefs and mangroves ecosystems, seagrass meadows; and fisheries oceanography.
