Coastal and Ocean Remote Sensing, SKS 2, Semester VII, Elective.

Pre-requisite: students have passed the GKP 2206 Remote Sensing Digital Image Processing and have taken the GEL 2108 Oceanography courses.

Course Description: This course aims to understand the role and application of remote sensing data for coastal and marine studies. The material presented includes: basic concepts of coastal and marine, the scope of remote sensing studies for coastal and marine, legal aspects in coastal and marine studies, basic concepts of remote sensing approaches for coastal and marine studies, and selected applied examples in the field of coastal and marine remote sensing.
