The competence of this course is able to explain advanced wood drying science and technology which includes the basics of making ovens, preparing hardwood and softwood drying schedules, stresses in wood during drying, developing drying schedule, developing drying schedule, advanced wood drying research, and practice drying wood in the wood processing industry. Learning methods include learning in the classroom, independent learning, and group discussions.
