Teknik Pengolahan Limbah

Teknik Pengolahan Limbah (Waste Treatment Engineering) is designed for chemical engineering undergraduate students to provide a comprehensive understanding of solid and wastewater treatment technologies. The course covers the principles of municipal and industrial solid waste management, including collection, processing, and resource recovery. It also explores emerging waste issues such as electronic waste and battery recycling. The second half of the course focuses on wastewater treatment, beginning with pollution prevention and characterization, followed by primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment methods. Advanced treatment techniques such as membrane separation and biological treatment equipment are also introduced. Through this course, students will develop the technical knowledge necessary for designing and evaluating waste treatment processes in industrial and environmental contexts.
