The purpose of this unit is to introduce students to the fundamental principles of management within the context of fisheries. Students will develop critical thinking skills to apply management principles and differentiate them based on the scale of managed areas or jurisdiction. We also aimed to equip students with an understanding of the minimum requirements for establishing good management arrangements and how to enhance them. The course will provide both a theoretical study case and an example of the study case.
