This elective course facilitates students in discovering the process, participants, and roles of architects in real estate development. Students will also be equipped with the essential tools of real estate finance, market analysis, and regulations to value the sustainability and feasibility of an architectural design. By joining this course, students are expected to be able to prioritise the productivity of design alternatives in enhancing the land value utilising the concept of Highest and Best Use (HBU) analysis. Hands-on experience through case studies on the real estate development of vacant land and improved property with a variety of orientations and uses is also provided to upskill the students.
