Multinational Finance
This course discusses international financial management in terms of concept and theory, as well as best and worse practices around the world. The goals of this course are to equip students with knowledge, and technical skills that can be learned from discussion of text and cases from Multinational Corporation. International financial management can be defined as financial management in the context of multinational corporation. The topics covered in this course can be grouped into five big areas: Environment of International Financial Management, Foreign Exchange Exposure, International Financing, International Investment, and Managing MNC Operation.
This class will discuss cases related to international finance, to improve analytical skill and understanding of international finance. We use combination of lecturing, discussion, and problem solving. Students must read assigned chapters before class begins, and must be active during class discussion.
