Training and Human Resources Development

The Training and Human Resources Development course discusses the training and development process of human resources (HR) or human capital in organizations. This course is designed to provide a conceptual understanding of the meaning and function of training and development in managing human resources in organizations. By carrying out analyses and exercises, students are expected to understand and comprehend the contents of this course.

The learning process is carried out through lectures, class discussions, creating training modules, watching videos, and role-playing one training session. For example, for role play, students are asked to present to the class one of the sessions in their training module. The lecturer will provide feedback, and other students will respond.  Furthermore, in module creation activities, students will be guided in preparing training modules starting from TNA to training evaluation. This activity is intended for students to express knowledge, and also to improve understanding and ability to create training modules and directly to experience the process of training activities.
