The ENTOMOLOGY course learns about: an overview of insects, the role of insects and the relationship between the field of entomology and other branches of biology; Phylum Arthropoda phylogeny; general morphology of Classis Insecta; Classis Insecta classification to order level; order characteristics; manufacture and use of insect determination keys; beneficial insects; harmful insects; and insect population management.
