This course introduces the definition and principles of ecology, the limiting factors of aquatic ecosystems; biogeochemical cycles, energy flow, population changes, and aquatic communities; succession processes, typology and ontogeny aquatic ecosystems; river ecosystems, lake ecosystems, estuary ecosystems, and marine ecosystems (especially tropical marine ecosystems); and application of aquatic ecology in fisheries.
