Mata kuliah ini membahas konsep – konsep dasar manajemen untuk bisnis. Topik yang dibahas dalam mata kuliah ini adalah pengenalan terhadap lingkungan bisnis, definisi manajemen untuk bisnis, fungsi bisnis internal dan berbagai aspek yang terkait dengan manajemen strategik bisnis.
Mata kuliah ini juga akan menekankan pada berbagai teori utama dalam manajemen, konsep, teknik dan praktik manajemen dalam konteks dunia bisnis yang dinamis dan global. Diskusi akan mencakup seluruh fungsi manajemen termasuk perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan dan pengendalian.

This course discusses basic concepts of business and management. Topics discussed in this course are introduction to business environment, definition of management for business, the functions of internal business and various aspects related to business strategy management. Further, this course emphasizes management theories, concepts, techniques, and practice in the context of global and dynamic business. Discussion in-class will include all of management function such as planning, organizing, directing, and controlling.

Managerial Economics - R84A Yogyakarta
Managerial Economics is a comprehensive course designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the principles and concepts of economics specifically applied in a managerial context. This course will equip students with the necessary knowledge and analytical skills to make informed business decisions and maximize profitability.
The course will cover a range of topics including demand analysis, production and cost analysis, pricing strategies, market structure analysis, game theory, strategic decision-making, and risk analysis. Emphasis will be placed on understanding how economic principles influence managerial decision-making and how these decisions impact the overall performance of a firm.
In addition, the behavior of individuals, companies, markets and governments within the framework of managerial decisions-making is the core study in this course. Throughout the course, real-world case studies and examples will be also presented to enhance students' understanding of the application of economic theories in practical business scenarios.
The main textbook for this course is "Managerial Economics and Business Strategy" by Michael Baye and Jeff Prince (2022). Supplementary materials, such as academic articles and research papers, will also be used to deepen students' understanding of the subject matter and to expose them to current and emerging trends in managerial economics. Upon completion of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the economic forces that shape business decisions, and they will be able to apply economic analysis and reasoning to solve complex managerial problems.
